What is Content Marketing? Our Definition
Content marketing is an umbrella term to describe all forms of marketing that uses content – through creation and sharing – to attract, acquire and engage customers.
There are numerous forms of content used for marketing purposes – blogs, digital articles, podcasts, infographics, social media content, websites, motion graphics…you name it. It can be branded content or simply industry-related content created with the aim of assisting the customer. Often used as a core pillar in a thought-leader strategy, if effective, content marketing increases business leads that translate into customer acquisition, or customer conversion.
